Yanceyville, NC- It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Sherman Darrell Pointer, 31, of 402 Main Street Yanceyville, NC who passed away Monday, May 10, 2021.

Mr. Sherman Darrell Pointer was born on September 25, 1989 in Danville, VA to Sherman Wilson and Mary Ellen Pointer. He was a graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School Class of 2009.

Mr.  Sherman Darrell Pointer leaves to cherish his memories  his mother Mary Ellen Pointer of Blanch, NC; his fiancé Harley Snow of Yanceyville, NC;  three sons, Eli, Isaac and Cavien and two daughters, Mila and Tanyia; three brothers, Brandon Daye of Roxboro, NC; Demetrius Pointer of Greensboro, NC; Tyree Bradsher of Hurdle Mills, NC; one sister, Shermisha Pointer of Yanceyville, NC; maternal grandmother, Willestine Pointer of Halifax, VA ; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home, Yanceyville, NC with a limit of 10 people at a time.

Funeral Services for Mr. Sherman Darrell Pointer will be Sunday, May 16, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home. Rev. Cedric Garland of Grace Impowerment in Reidsville, NC  will deliver the words of comfort. Interment will follow in the Greater  Brandon Chapel  Baptist Church Cemetery, Alton, VA.
