Michael V. Motley

Providence, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Michael V. Motley 48, of 4081 Shady Grove Road, Providence, NC; who passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023; at his residence.

He was the son of the late Will Arthur Motley and Mary Ann Brown Motley, born September 21, 1974. He was a graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School and was a employee of Procter & Gamble before he became disabled.

He was a member of New Ephesus Baptist Church in Ruffin, NC.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory wife, Katina Jones Motley; three daughters Alecia Motley and Ebony Motley both of Reidsville, NC and Mataya Motley of Ruffin, NC; three brothers, Arthur Motley ( Perci ),Robin Motley  both of Charlotte, NC and Jeremy Motley of Pelham, NC; aunts, Zettie Jones of Providence, NC, Margaret Hairston of Ruffin, NC, Doris Chatman of Silver Springs, MD and Alice Hill of Washington, DC; host of cousins and friends.

A viewing for Mr. Michael V. Motley  will be Friday, February 3, 2023; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral.

Funeral Services for Mr. Michael V. Motley will be Saturday, February 4, 2023; at 1 p.m. at New Ephesus Baptist Church in Ruffin, NC.

Interment will follow at the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Providence, NC.
