Pelham, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Lloyd H. Lipscomb of 807 Nunnally Road, Pelham, North Carolina, who passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Sovah Health in Danville, Virginia.
Lloyd was a native of Caswell County, North Carolina, where he was the son of the late Floney Lipscomb Sr. and Nannie Mae Wilson Lipscomb, born on June 24, 1946.
Lloyd was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member of the trustee board, usher board, social committee and the choir. Lloyd also served on the Caswell Senior Center advisory board, and he enjoyed helping seniors by delivering meals on wheels.
Lloyd was a veteran of the United States Army. Afterwards, he was an employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company prior to his retirement.
In addition to Lloyd’s parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Lipscomb, Floney Lipscomb Jr., and Billie Lipscomb; four sisters, Florence Chandler, Nancey Lea, Esther Mae Randolph, and Lois Johnson.
Mr. Lloyd H. Lipscomb leaves to cherish his memories to his beloved wife, Brenda M. Lipscomb of the home; one daughter, Pamela Williamson (Hulon) of Burlington, North Carolina; two sons, Peter Lipscomb (Erica) of Haw River, North Carolina, and Richard Lipscomb (Venecia) of Brown Summit, North Carolina; two sisters, Ruth Lea, and Lillian Slade both of Yanceyville, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service for Mr. Lloyd H. Lipscomb will be Wednesday, November 25, 2020 12 Noon in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home. Pastor Roderick Fitz will deliver the words of comfort. Military Rites will be performed.
*Attendance at the memorial service will be limited to fifty (50) individuals and attendees will be pre-determined by the family*.
