Leroy Banks Turner

Graham, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Leroy Banks Turner of 710 Ivey Rd. Graham, NC, who passed away Tuesday June 21, 2022 in Duke Regional Hospital Durham, NC.

He was a native of Caswell County, NC the son of the late Willie Banks Turner and Flossie Mae Miles Turner, born August 7, 1945. He joined Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and was a employee of United Moving Company before retirement. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Watlington Turner; two brothers, Willie Turner Jr. and Wesley Turner; one sister, Connie Irvin Turner McCain.

His survivors are one son, Maurice Turner ( Tamyra ) of Graham, NC; four step daughters, Janice Ingram of Burlington, NC, Barbaralene Sellars ( Ricky), Shiryl Stokes ( Tony ) and Tammy Echols ( Howard ) all of Reidsville, NC; one sister, Helen Mae Turner of Yanceyville, NC; 10 grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends 

A viewing for Mr. Leroy Banks Turner will be Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7p.m. in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Leroy Banks Turner will be Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at the Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
