Brown Summit, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Beulah Yvonne Brown Hass of 7707 Locust Grove Road, Brown Summit, who passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Ms. Beulah Yvonne Haas was a native of Caswell County, North Carolina; and she was born June 10, 1949 to the late Fred Brown and Beulah Willis Brown. Many affectionately knew her as “Yvonne”.
Yvonne was a member of New Ephesus Baptist Church in Ruffin, North Carolina, where she was a member of the Missionary Circle.
Yvonne was a Claims Processor for the Law Office of Kenneth M. Johnson in Greensboro, North Carolina, prior to her retirement.
Yvonne’s favorite pastimes were being apart of and going to social events, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to Yvonne’s parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Hazel Mae Jones; four brothers, Fred Brown Sr., Edward (Pond) Brown, William Albert Tate, and Alvis David Brown. One brother, Burlie Hester Graves followed Yvonne in death.
Ms. Beulah Yvonne Haas leaves to cherish her precious memories to her son, Nicholas Stancil (Chastity) of Lincolnton, NC; grandchildren, Alexus Stancil, Eian Stancil, and Austionna Farley; great grandchild, Calum Wilson; two stepsisters, Shirley Bacon (Donell) of Syracuse, New York, and Claudia Cave of Washington, District of Columbia (DC); stepbrother, Leon Graves (Vinnie) of Hampton, Virginia; and a host of devoted nieces; nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Graveside Services for Ms. Beulah Yvonne Brown Haas will be Sunday, September 19, 2021 2:00 PM at the Corbett Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery Pelham, NC, with Pastor Lamar Boykin of New Ephesus Baptist Church delivering the words of comfort.
