Ada Florence Oliver Lipscomb

Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Ada Florence Oliver Lipscomb of 335 Oak Tree St. Yanceyville, NC, who passed  Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Sovah Health in Danville, VA.

She was a native of Caswell County, NC the daughter of the late William Oliver and Ada Mangum Oliver, born August 13, 1941.

She was a member of Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church and was an employee of Caswell County School System before retirement.

Ada was married to William Morris Lipscomb who preceded her in death, she was also preceded in death by one sister Louise Mangum Poole.

Her survivors are six daughters, Carolyn Foster (Terry) of Yanceyville, NC, Rita Stewart (Malcolm) of Milton, NC, Shelia Breedlove (Sam) of Axton, VA., Billie Graves (Carl AKA Beaver) of Reidsville, NC, Cynthia Brown (George) of Stoneville, NC and Erica Lipscomb (Kim) of Yanceyville, NC; one sister, Janie Mae Briggs of Yanceyville, NC; two sisters-in-law, Lillian Slade and Ruth Lea both of Yanceyville, NC; one brother-in-law, Lloyd Lipscomb (Brenda) of Pelham, NC; close friend, Thelma Lea of Yanceyville, NC; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time.   (Per CDC Guidelines:  Facial Masks are required).

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ada Florence Oliver Lipscomb will be Sunday, September 13, 2020, 12:00 Noon in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home, 219 Dillard School Drive, Yanceyville, North Carolina.  (Facial Masks are required). The funeral service will be livestreamed.
