Na'Jada Chanel Joyce

Axton, Va. - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Miss Na'Jada Chanel Joyce 20, of 8085 Axton Rd. Axton, VA., who passed away Friday, January 10, 2020.

She was the daughter of Derek Wimbush (Adrienne) and Tilphanie Joyce, born October 25, 1999 in Martinsville, VA.  

Na'Jada was a graduate of Magna Vista High School class of 2018, and she was a student at Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, VA.

She was of the Baptist faith and was an employee of Walmart in Eden, NC.

She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Arizona Joyce and great grandfather, Johnny Joyce.

Her survivors are mother, Tilphanie Joyce of Axton, VA; father, Derek Wimbush (Adrienne ) of Martinsville, VA.; maternal grandmother, Julia Joyce of Axton, VA.; maternal grandfather, Michael Hairston of Detroit, Michigan; paternal grandparents, Sylvester Wimbush and Phyllis Bethel Wimbush of Martinsville, VA.; two brothers, Jaylen Wimbush and Derek Wimbush Jr. all of Martinsville, VA.; four sisters, O'Kevia Hayes of Raleigh, NC, Kimora Wimbush, Takeira Beal and Aniyah Richardson, all of Martinsville, VA; godfather, Charles Hairston; godmother, Edna Perkins; father figure, Perez Redd ; godsister, Deionna Redd; special cousin, Kanesha Perkins; a host of aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends.
